Just heard a question to a radio program about this the other day.
Apparent=
ly you can't claim against your credit card company because you paid via
pa=
ypal. Essentially your credit card paid paypal, then it paid the seller.=20
Unless the T&C of your credit card is different, I don't think you'll
get a=
refund off them.

Subject: [ukha_d] [OT] Ebay / Paypal - Card Refund Claim
Hi All
=20
Just a quickie for the collective knowledge of this group. I had the
misfor=
tune of buying from a seller on ebay who never delivered and never
responde=
d to my emails. The item was =A343.92 and I paid by PayPal. I've had my
cla=
im accepted but I am only eligible for the maximum =A328.92 under the
buyer=
protection policy.
My question is; Is it worth filling a claim with my credit card company
(Ca=
pital One) for a refund or would I be better to 'double or quits' by
puttin=
g another =A315 on the 3:30 and Aintree, there's a horse running called
"Gu=
llible Mug"??? ;-)
=20
Thanks in advance
