It's a 4 PC dual head KVM i.e. switches only 2 monitors. I've had it for
ages but I guess Belkin don't sell many in the UK. Their support people
didn't know much about it.
There are a few problems though - cables are all integrated (USB runs in
one of the VGA cables and audio in the other IIRC). They are fairly low
quality so you can get some minor shadowing of the picture (in bright
areas). Also, it's a USB model but it doesn't support a dual USB
keyboard/mouse receiver very well - If nothing is plugged into keyboard
socket the KVM beeps continuously! Duh! I had to plug in an old keyboard
receiver as well.
Other than that it's OK and far cheaper than these matrix KVM's that cost a
fortune!
Oh, it's VGA connector type rather than DVI. I know they do DVI KVM's but
don't know if they do a dual head ver. Have a look on the US Belkin site
rather than UK - they have more.
Paul.

Belkin 4 port, dual head KVM????
When did that arrive? I spoke to Belkin about that sort of thing a few
months and they didn't mention it. Is it DVI or DSUB? I would like a
DVI one.

I've got a Parhelia which is pretty good - does 3 screens. But to run my
24" wide screen and two 22" ers - I put a PCI Matrox 450 in as
well -
that way I run 1920x1200 and two 1600x1200 together - more desktop space
than you can shake a stick at!
My other 'work' PC has an ATI Radeon X800 XT (fast but expensive) and
another Matroc PCI 450.
I switch between the two PC's using a Belkin 4 port, dual head KVM -
third monitor normally stays on one PC so I can monitor video output
etc.
Also all linked to a Sony broadcast ref monitor - talk about wrap around
viewing!
Paul.
