Maybe I misunderstand, but isn't Paypal a direct account-to-account
transfer?

Have him pay via paypal, and once the money shows up in your account,
send him the item...

Unless I'm way off base...

I've just sold a projector for a couple of hundred pounds - bloke did
Buy It Now, and has only registered 6 days ago, so no rating. Says he
will pay on Friday as he doesn't get paid to then...

What is best way of accepting payment from him - I'm guessing cheque and
letting it clear properly, if he pays by Nochex or PayPal, can I still
loose the money if he's dodgy.
