Don't touch anything other than cash or wait for a cheque to clear.
Paypal and Nochex have more "buyer protection" holes than you can
shake a
stick at!
If he's honest he will not quibble over waiting for a cheque to clear.
If he happens to live near and wants to deliver cash don't do it in a
public
place, a good number of people have been caught by "Grab and Run"
tactics. I
actually know a guy who was caught recently by this. Sold a PDA, met in a
Sainsbury car park. Guy looked over PDA and then legged it with the PDA!
Police said "Oh yes. Ebay was it? Never mind Son!"

Nice world we live in!

Rob

I've just sold a projector for a couple of hundred pounds - bloke did Buy
It
Now, and has only registered 6 days ago, so no rating. Says he will pay on
Friday as he doesn't get paid to then...

What is best way of accepting payment from him - I'm guessing cheque and
letting it clear properly, if he pays by Nochex or PayPal, can I still
loose
the money if he's dodgy.

Thanks

Dean.
