I use Monkeys Audio but it should give similar results to any decent
lossless coding system. The amount of compression depends on the music
type. Pop music tends to not compress very well, you would expect to
end up with files 60-70% of the original size. Some types of music
such as solo piano can compress very well, down to 30% of the original
file. CDs or WAV files are about 10MB per minute, so a 60 minute CD is
600MB.
