I also want to do some modulating, my original idea was to use my video,
but then realised the RF sockets were already broken.  :)  I'm looking for
a RF modulator to pass the Scart output from my TiVo into, as the RF output
of TiVos is atrocious.

What RF modulators are people using? and would a new VCR be cheaper?

The modulator has audio in connectors - now there is a debate on
whether it's mono or stereo - but for my purpose mono is good enough
and I never bothered to check if it's stereo.
(I actually use an old vcr to do the job - the mechanics are broken
but the rf is still ok and I use the Scart Input on the vcr)
