Re: Backup software for the Mac

I use the .mac supplied backup software. This is included as part of=20
the .mac package if you subscribe.

You get an internet facing idisk to host shared files and websites=20
(250MB). The iDisk is integrated with the ilife packages so publishing=20
pictures to the web is a breeze.

The backup package is also integrated with idisk so that you can=20
schedule backups to the filestore but also make backups to DVD or to a=20
network share.

I've got it so that it schedules an overnight backup to the iDisk with=20
all my system settings and core data plus an overnight backup to a=20
local network share for all my "stuff". Seems to work really
well.

Lots of other things included in the .mac package:

http://www.mac.com

costs about =A360 for a years subscription - you can get 1GB of space
for=20
extra.

If you subscribe - put me down as your referrer and get 20% off next=20
year :-)
