Re: Gigabit network
Well, IMHO not directly, the 100Mb connected device will not have any more
bandwidth, but if from a 100Mb connected device your pulling files from a
Gig Connected device,at the same time as a different machine is pulling
from
the gig Machine, then yes in that scenario it *could* be faster, by the
fact
that the Gig connected machine has more bandwidth to serve more than one
machine at the same time.
Probably not very clearly put, Im sure someone will come along shortly and
explain it better :)
