For me it'll just be iTunes/iLife and surfing - bog standard stuff, though
I'll probably still upgrade the memory. It's really just a toe in the
water
to see what all the fuss about. which is exactly what the Apple marketing
people want, damn them!

Would like to join the ranks soon....
Is it worth the extra for the higher spec machine?

What about hard drive - do you "need" the 80gb or is 40 enough
and
everything else is on your network?

What about memory - std 256 and upgrade elsewhere, or just go with the
apple
upgrade?
The apple 1gb upgrade seems a bit steep but the 512mb not so bad - is 512
enough or do you really need to go the whole hog?

Just adding it all up, if I go the faster model, bluetooth and airport,
wireless keyboard, memory etc, then it ends up frikkin expensive :/

What are other ppl going for?
What are you actually using it for???

Cheers,

Tony
