Couple of quick points ...

If you don't have one, you will need to get a pc interface to program the
units.

I will be using a mixture of 5A and 2A units in my install and it comes
down
to load requirements and space in your wiring closet as to which you
choose.

The more expensive switches can do scenes which is nice and have settings
for power fail etc.

Cheers
Chris

I need to get dimmers for another 4 circuits in the house.
Despite having a dozen LD11 dimmers elsewhere in the house I think I'll
go for Clipsal instead.
I looked into it a year ago, but never bit the bullet!!

So some quick questions before purchasing...

I was looking at the L5504D2A 4-Channel Dimmer, 220V AC, 2A, with power
supply,
but now I see there is now another dimmer L5104D5: 4 Channel Dimmer,
240V AC, 5A, with power supply
Anyone using this newer one? 2A per circuit is sufficient, but are
there any other differences in functions?
I can see that you get 5A per channel and it's larger...

The circuits are in separate rooms so just single gang switches
I was looking at a bus coupler to allow use of ordinary Clipsal
momentary switches.
Is there any great functional loss buy going this route, rather than
using the intelligent switches??
One of the four circuits is a tiny loo, so perhaps I can have a
movement sensor and no switch?

Last question...with cbus can I set some circuits to come on a maximum
brightness, despite their previous setting? This is the opposite of the
newer LD11 and in some areas for me this would be better.

Thanks,

Martin
