There is a gentleman on this board you should be speaking to. He makes a
CBUS to ethernet via xAP (I have one - works well).

I'm planning an extension in the near future and have also been
considering CBUS rather than more LD11's
The main thing that put's me off is lack of any sort of ethernet
connectivity as I'd rather do the intelligent stuff from my TINI board
(low power, quiet etc etc) whose serial connection is currently tied up
talking to comfort.
I suppose I could always get the CBUS serial interface but that would
involve the installation of another TINI (or event worse, a hulking big
pc) to act as a gateway.
Or there's the possibility of a CBUS UCM for comfort but I suspect I
would need a comfort firmware/board upgrade.
Does anybody know whether Clipsal have plans to support ethernet
directly?
All I want is a DIN mount lighting dimmer with an ethernet interface,
surely this is the most obvious route for automation of lighting these
days but nobody (as far as I can see) produces such a thing, the
closest I can see at the moment is to go for DMX dimmer packs and an
ethernet to DMX gateway, but most of the DMX stuff I see is rated for
stage use and and rather expensive.
Cheers
