[OT] ADSL Wireless Router Recommendations
Calling on the wealth of knowledge that is UKHA_D, my father is in the
market for broadband. And, having a laptop, would like wireless
connection=
.
Being a Vigor man, I'd normally recommend the 2600G, but I note from
BroadbandBuyer that the Netgear DG834GT is available for =A340 less,
_including_ a Cardbus adapter. Oh, and it's rated 108Mbps (like you'd get
close to that from a 512k internet connection :-)
My concerns on using the Netgear: I've no experience of the brand, can I
turn off SSID broadcast, and it does not have a built-in USB print server
(not essential, but certainly useful)
Other than that, anyone with recommendations for a 802.11g wireless router?
