The TomTom BT GPS behaves in different way depending on how you power it

If it's powered via the DC socket it acts like it does on battery Power,
you
need to switch it on and off using the button

If you power it via the two PCB contacts on the back (as it would do in the
cradle) it switches on and off with the external power source

I'd like to make a cradle using some spring loaded PCB pins sometime.....

TomTom no longer provided the car cradle for the Bluetooth GPS
receiver with their PDA Navigation software. Does anyone know where
I might be able to get a 5V DC +/-10% power supply so that I can
hard wire the GPS unit into the car electrics?
