Mine isnt a "Total Loss" of smell but there are some smells that
simply dont
exist. Others I seem hyper sensitive to. If I walk into a department store
and have to walk past a perfume counter it gets right up my nose and I
start
sneezing instantly.

Again variable results. A lot of food doesnt taste of much at all so isnt
really enjoyable which is probably why I go for spicy foods as they do have
taste.

Then again... perhaps I have destroyed the taste buds with too many hot
curries!!!
