Re: Anyone recommend a multi-zone amp that's available in the US ?

And I should add the keypads have IR sensors that pass IR back to the unit
and out via a standard jack if you wish so all your IR problems are solved
for free!

Get yourself a Russound Cav6.2 - it has a party mode for one source to all
zones and obviously has the usual stuff too. I have a contact in the US who
I bought 2 from who can sort you right out for around 2200$ if you are
interested. They are totally controllable and have a fantastic plugin using
the Cinemar software.

As we're still no closer to a PC solution that works as multizone audio,
then a possibility is grabbing a multizone amp (or just preamp - prob be
better and lighter) is one way to get the system working.

There have been the odd suggestion in the group (ie Russound). My brother
is in the US for a couple of weeks so the opportunity for him to bring me
back a device is tempting.

All I want is a device that can play to ALL zones, or to ONE specific
zone.

The Holy Grail methinks...
