I once saw remote readout scales with the base totally invisible in the
tiled floor (I assume strain gauges). This was in a Japanese hotel room.
I considered a HA version of these - probably using thoses ones with a
wireless remote display. Taking that further some scales that had an
RS232 output that could link in to a charting application on a PC on an
LCD display in the bathroom would be the DB's (although very
depressing). Anyone know of scales with a serial output ? Or there was
someone with an RF receiver homebrew device here on the list that
converted data to RS232 (mainly for weather/temp sensors I think)
