Mark,

The Smartfit web site has installation instructions for their S and Y plan
controllers. I have the S plan. I believe both are designed for a stored HW
system (at least according to the diagrams). You may be able to control a
combi but I'm not sure. Best bet may be to ring the Honeywell support line.
I've found them very helpful in the past.

If you can't find the number from the web site, let me know as I may have
it tucked away somewhere although it will take a fair bit of effort to dig
it out.

Paul.

Subject: [ukha_d] Combi Boiler and Smartfit

Hi all,

I am just about to complete on a newly renovated farmhouse in North
Wales. The heating and hot water is via an oil fired combi boiler. I
was wondering, does anyone know whether it is possible to install
Honeywell Smartfit in this scenario. My intentions are to hook up
Smartfit to Comfort to allow me to control heating more intelligently.
Is this going to be possible or will I need to find some other way? If
another way, what are my alternatives?

Cheers,

M
