RE: [OT] TomTom Go

For UK postcode POI's - significantly improves on the TomTom's built in 4
letter postcode system although it can be a little slow searching.

www.pocketgps.co.uk

add a few POIs and the speedcamera database ;)

Installation is simply copying the .bmp (icons) & .ov2 (text files with
lat,
lon and name) into the map folder on the SD card

Note you can also 'upgrade' to a larger card by just copying the entire
contents

Just taken delivery of a TomTom Go for SWMBO.

What a cracking piece of kit!

Any useful links, hints and tips, etc I might be interested in?

Cheers
