RE: Re: Wind Power
I've only been reading bits of this thread, and im hoping to buy another
house in around 18months (long way off and lots to do before hand..)
anyway, it'll probably be a mid terrace Victorian property,
And im hoping to get a decent-ish sized garden (perhaps 25' long) what
sort of size do these turbines come in? and is anyone aware of noise
issues? (like noise neighbours would object to)
And on the HA related note, I intend to stuff it full of home cinema and
automation ;o)
Jonathan.

Must admit I'd be very tempted with the =A31000 grant as it should give
a total payback inside a year and would go some way to assuaging my
guilt over burning so much electricity (ref Horizon).=20=20=20
Also, it would be great fun trying to get it through my local planners
in the face of local objections to windmills in the backyard!=20
However, one concern... I wonder if there is any chance that the
synchronising inverter will not interfere with X10 signals. Given
that UPS units (I understand) and powersurge devices (I know from
experience) are capable of screwing up signals I have my doubts.
Anyone have any thoughts on this issue?
(Oh and given the comment on the electricity, is it possible to be a
green or at least greenish HAer?)=20
