No Paul, you're not the only one!
I have desisted for a while but have decided to get one based on my
recent experiences with my new mac mini!
The Apple pundits refer to the iPod halo effect i.e. Ipod users
deciding on getting a mac because of the good user experience of the
mac.
I must be a reverse iPod halo effect person!
I want one to sync with my rapidly expanding podcast collection so that
I can stop burning CD-Rs for the car. One of those illegal in the UK
iTrip devices look rather tempting as well! Apparently, you can
configure smart playlists in iTunes to sync with the iPod so that when
you have listened to something on the iPod it automatically deletes
itself and downloads some fresh content.
