I've mixed up some comments below - or do I mean I've made some mixed up
comments below.

Do you mean MTBF or missing signals. I can't really test for missing
signals at the moment as my test rig is only behind the same plug with
controlled by one of the simple hardwired switches that also picks up .
I have tried it with low energy and electronic LV transformers in the
circuit. I could add a part used drum of 1mm Tw+E but that may add
interesting effects in itself.
I have experienced some strange X-10 behaviour in this house. Some units
will switch on but not off. Also even though it is not a big house by
the standards of some one this list where the X-10 signals go into the
mains seems to have a bearing on what works where.

I'll check on the above tonight. I can't remember how much I left
connected but I should be able to try something.
