Thanks for the replies Mike and Tim.
The idea below using a small pump is a good idea, my cistern is hidden and
uses pneumatics so this is really do-able. I think I would need a powerful
pump that's quiet, I don't like the idea of a "touch button/sensor
wait 5
seconds for the flush"
IR is really not that important but discreet is so I'm thinking about one
of
those sensor plate switches mounted behind a tile.
Any of you electronic bods able to point me towards a simple circuit for
running a pump for x seconds? Of course this is going to need to be LV so
its within regs. I can easily feed 240v from behind or above the bathroom
though.
