This won't work. Audio is routed to the specific device - not to all
devices (in the same way that when you sign in on one keypad, the
others remain silent). Still worth a try, depending on what you are
trying to achieve. E.g. you could indicate a change in mode
(day/night/away) via an LED or via homeseer if you extend the comfort
set/unset macros to change the state of a real or virtual output.

You should be able to do it with the homeseer comfort plug-in fine.
Don't know diddly sqat about homegate so can't comment.
