Hi Gary,
Personally I would go the extra =A310 and get one of these.

Its RF (6m range apparently) although I stuck the reciever to the=20
underside of my desk (power of blu-tak!) directly under the mousemat.

Keyboard is a good size with hotkeys also.

Take normal AA batteries (supplied) and has lasted me 4 months and=20
counting so far.
