Smoke Detector Help

I have some standard Fire alarm smoke detectors and rise of head
detectors,

These are 24v units.

I've had no previous experience fitting smoke detectors and thus am not
sure how to interface them to the smoke detector circuit on my burglar
alarm and into homevision, basically I plan to build a module to go
between the smokes ring with Indicator lamps (Upstairs, Downstairs and
Workshop) and give a set of Dry contacts for connection to the alarm
system and to HV, I must admit I was expecting to find + and - and a set
of contacts but just appear to have + and - in / out, so following a lot
of goggling and turning up not a lot I was hopeing that someone here
would be able to point me in the right direction: I am wondering what I
should be looking for in a way of an alarm signal / Fault signal and if
anyone can point me in the right direction?

Many thanks,

Stuart.
