The school is in Ireland(south) not the UK so I doubt it is on the grid
although they are rolling out broadband to schools which links into a
virtual network=85they don=92t seem to be offering anything more than
email=
and
content filtering though.

Thanks

It matters where the school is ... As part of NGfL (National Grid for
Learning), this may already be available. Email me off list, as I may
know=

I know some of you have looked at content management systems in the past
an=
d
would like to ask the collective knowledge for a recommendation.

I have been asked to put together a website for a school 9-12 year olds
being the main users.

The idea is that the classes can have their own sections and upload photos,
scanned images, text news items etc.=20=20

There are a couple of specific requirements..

1 For fairly obvious reasons the teaching staff will have to have approval
for any images or text that is uploaded before it actually appears live on
the website.

2 It must be VERY easy to use.drag and drop uploading for images would be
great for example

3 It must be very cheap or by preference free as the money from this will
come from bag packing at Tescos etc. No other funding available.

If any of you have recommendations that would be great.

Thanks

Mick
