CBus will work, be reliable, and there are easy ways to integrate it into
an automation
environment to make it do whatever you want. It also has the advantage of
having good
support, both on this list because there are a bunch of people who use CBus
and also on
cbusforums.com
I don't know much about EIB, but you can't really go wrong with CBus.
