Hi Craig
I intially used the TOM10 Board which you can connect up to 10
dallas temp sensors and it has a serial interface.....There  is an xPL
Plugin for it so i was able to get the sensors to control my bedroom sweep
fans....had the sensors mounted in a small box via cat5.......

I now use my Probe  system as i can now connect Dallas temp sensors
(ds18s20) to it.....this saves me a cat5 cable to each room and my probe
system also has an xPL Plugin....

Another list member has installed the dallas sensors inside used bullet
shells and this is what i intend to do as well........
