Re: Quietish PC



Thanks for the suggestion. I was actually thinking along the lines of
the Zalman heatpipe cooler
(http://www.kustompcs.co.uk/acatalog/info_3831.html)
- not only will it
keep the drive temperature down, but it has rubber mounts to cut down
the transmitted noise too (supposedly by 90% or so).

Trouble is, my case is a ThermalTake Mozart, which has the DVD drive in
the middle of the 3 available 5.25" bays - I'm not sure if the Zalman
will fit cleanly into a single slot...
