I was thinking of getting this one from play.com :-

'Joytech Digital AV Cable - Includes AV Scart, Separate RCA Audio, S-Video
Output, Optical Cable'

for =A312.99 delivered.

Is the optical out the only way to get the surround sound out of the xbox
via an AV Receiver?
Actually my Toshiba 36" CRT has optical in, would that decode the
surround
sound from an XBOX?

I haven't seen a cable that does YUV and optical out but if you cant get
one I would rather have the surround sound and suffer the slight loss in
picture quality from the S-Video. Would I spot the difference between YUV
and S-Video or am I talking rubbish?
