I started with a Knoppmyth system, but the default build wasn't quite
right for the other things I wanted the box to do. So I installed Ubuntu
and built Myth on it and even managed to import the old recorded programs.

I like Myth because I can watch the recorded programs on the main LCD TV
using an XBox, or on two other TVs using Hauppauge MediMVP boxes, or
even on a Windows box with MPC and a VB front end "wot I wrote"
as well
as the Myth Server.
