I have got fitted to all my home entertainment equipment Belkin surge
protection
distribution boards. You can get them in 4, 6 ,8 way etc. The larger one
comes with coax and satellite cable protection. The other units offer
telephone line protection.

So with a few well chosen units, you can hopefully protect all of
your equipment.
