Paul,

I also brought mine in from the states, I used to live in Miami and=20
still have a lot of friends out there. Bought one off ebay and had=20
it delivered to a friends address in Miami and picked it up when we=20
visited them about a month later.

One slightly full suitcase and a BA flight later it was safely home.=20
IIRC, UK cost was about =A33000, US ebay inc delivery was $2000. Only=20
drawback is there is no warranty at all - Russound say if not bought=20
from a licensed dealer then you get zero cover.=20

No comment on duty or VAT :-)  This was a couple of years ago=20
though. Very happy with the unit, it's even better with the=20
Mainlobby CAV plugin and the ability to send messages, including=20
track/Artist etc to the keypads and get receive control commands=20
back from the keypads.

Might be time for a holiday :-)
