Re: Integrating BT Home Monitor VP1000/Visonic to Homeseer

Interesting article, I'm halfway through doing this myself. I have now
installed the alarm, just in the process of the homeseer integration with
the RFXCOM receiver. So far I've got it picking up all the sensors I have
installed. Also using a couple of extra "door" sensors for
non-alarm based
stuff, like checking if the curtains are closed.

What is the best way of checking what state the alarm is in? As far as I
can
tell the receiver picks up the sensors, not the alarm panel. So if I arm
the
alarm using the keyfob then homeseer knows, but if I use the front panel it
doesn't. Any advice before I spend time working out the best way?

Thanks

Phil
