Nop, tried all the channels, and done a hard reboot, it's not helped.
I've
plugged the Linksys WAG54G back in, and that's not got any dropouts, so I
guess it's some kind of weird hardware failure....I've logged a ticket with
Netgear as the wait time on the phone was 30mins+ :-(

Hi all, some advice please....

For some reason, the wireless performance of my Netgear DG834PN has gone
very bad over the past couple of days and I can't work out why. As an
example, here's a ping:

Pinging 192.168.0.1 with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 192.168.0.1: bytes=32 time=3946ms TTL=64 Request timed out.
Reply from 192.168.0.1: bytes=32 time=3ms TTL=64 Reply from 192.168.0.1:
bytes=32 time=222ms TTL=64

Rubbish. There's nothing new in Node 0, and the only neighbour within
50mtrs
hasn't installed anything new either. This level of performance is constant
(i.e. it's not just when the microwave or plasma is on), and moving the
router to a different room hasn't helped. All wireless clients are acting
the same, so it has to be at the router end of the connection. Wired
connections are fine.

Any ideas? I've got a Linksys that I'm going to try later (had to come into
the office today) which, presumably, if it's the same will prove there's an
external influence at work, but won't help much more than that.

Pete
