Re: Cambridge Audio Multi Room System

Yes - it's based on the A-Bus system that a number of manufacturers
use including Opus (Octopus range), Russound (
http://www.russound.com/abus.htm
), Cambridge Audio and Jamo (AM4.6
etc..).....

I've installed a good few Opus Octopus recently and for the money and
cheap cabling requirements - they are great. An ideal system for
background music and (optional) video switching too.

What makes the system really neat are the Opus AMR650 Active speakers
which have built-in amps and IR control - therefore doing away with
the need for wall keypads (
http://www.opus-technologies.co.uk/octopusmr/keypads.html
).

All Opus Octopus keypads and active speakers also have pre-amp
outputin case you need a bit more power!
