... everything I have at home has a purpose.
If it's in use it has a useful purpose ...
... if it's not in use now and hasn't been used yet then it's being stored
for use in the future ...
... and if it was in use but it isn't any longer then it's now being used
as
a placeholder for anything that takes my fancy in the future so that the
wife doesn't grab the storage space. :-D
