Rob, I have 2 iPlayer+'s, and they are great. Rock solid, no crashes.
The builtin web browser is ideal for viewing 'simple' HA web pages, url's
can be mapped to any channel 900-999.
You will need an alternative remote though (pronto/harmony/etc), as the
supplied remote is so ugly :)
