RE: Smarthome show...
I=92m exhibiting with Sensible Heat & Smartkontrols at the Smart Home
Show =
so
please feel free to drop by & say hello.

As always the SK prices means that it is only of academic interest for most
HA followers =96 useful tips on advanced control/automation of heating, air
con, ventilation etc. I can give links to the datasheets on the web for
anyone that is interested. Hometronic is much more wallet friendly by
comparison but still costs upwards of =A31500 for a basic system.
Factsheet=
s
in PDF for can be emailed to anyone that wants them.=20

There is nothing new on the SK front just now but Sensible Heat will have
their new RS232 & webserver modules (actual production modules, not the
development units seen previously) on stand for the Hometronic system.
I=92=
ve
also recently completed a Hometronic install for a Homevision user who is
using volt-free contacts for additional integration & control including
using the alarm status to put the heating into automatic setback, web
acces=
s
via HV to preheat the house on his return, temp monitoring of hot water
storage to more closely control the hot water etc. If there is any interest
in what he has done then I=92ll write up a mini review. I=92m going back
to=
the
install in Feb to add an additional interface for him to expand the
volt-free inputs between HV & Hometronic to 10, so will be getting
photos
etc at that stage.

I know that Ben at Simply Automate has already offered free tickets to the
Smart Home Show - I=92ll be able to do likewise if Simply run short.
Ticket=
s
normally arrive at the exhibitors 4-6 weeks in advance of the event so
I=92=
ll
post again once they come in. Requests offlist please.
