Sounds like moisture issues to me.

This could be in the LNB or in the drop cable and initially will have
the effect of attenuating certain frequencies, which is why you are
seeing certain multiplexs drop out.

The other common one is treees growing into your line of sight, but
despite the weather, we are not is spring yet!

Also check your cables for kinks and tight bend radiuses, these can
have the same effect, although if your install has been in for a while
I doubt it is this.

The cable TV industry we often saw 'shrink back' where the outer
jacket used to shrink away from the connecter, leaving it open to
moisture ingress.
