So is the consensus that (for non-coders such as myself) MCE is now nearly
a
viable alternative to Sky+?
I've still got my TiVo, but am moving into the new house on Saturday, and
still haven't decided on my 'PVR strategy'. For now I'll stick with TiVo
(rather than committing to Sky+), but ultimately I'd love to have a PVR
that's 'TiVo-like', and capable of distributing video around the house. My
limited experience of MCE (on a PC with a dieing HD) was good, and whether
you like MS or not, the fact is that it will get better with each release
(and larger, I know, and probably more expensive etc etc).

The "Next" and "Previous" buttons seem quite useful for
jumping forward and
back with a few pushes.
