RE: [OT] Cat 5e Cable running tips needed!

I haven't really been following this thread but it reminded me of a 'tip'
that was given on the radio at lunchtime today. :-) The topic of
discussion was actually about the merits of owning a cat. It seemed at
lunchtime today all the world were cat haters until one caller described
how
useful his cat had been with some recent diy. They'd had trouble running
some cables under a floor due to the lack of access but they got round that
by tying one end of the cable to the cat's collar, sticking it under the
floorboards and then enticing the car to the other end of the room with a
handful of chopped liver!

My 'favourite' story of the day though was the cat owner who absolutely
hated calling out the vet, who was forced to one illness, paid a fortune
for
the cats treatment and then the vet reversed over it in his car on his way
back out of the owners drive!

Aye,

I'd second that, but perhaps chase a bit of the wall behind the skirting so
there's enough room to run a piece of decent sized conduit (don't forget to
add some draw strings incase you want to add a.n.other cable at a later
date)
