'just one question, please ... I'd assumed the sequence "orange /
white,
orange, green / white, blue, blue / white, green, brown / white,
brown"
was a misprint, but then you said "white colour white colour white
colour
white colour" was not right ... 'just want to be clear !

The common mistake is to go:

Orange/white
Orange
Green/white
Green
Blue/white
Blue
Brown/White
Brown

Which ends up with the Receive line being split across 3 (green/white) and
6
(Blue).

The correct way (568B) is:

Orange/white
Orange
Green/white
Blue
Blue/white
Green
Brown/White
Brown

Which ends up with the Receive line properly on the Green Pair.
