Resolution  is 0.1 amp so about 25watt and yes it will sense a lightbulb
even the fridge/freezer going on and off.  It updates the display every
second so easy to see changes. Nothing gets hots, it's just a meter running
from a 9v PSU instead of the normal PP3.

Just had a look on Ebay and the meters are even cheaper now, loads of them
for less that £10 - they are the dark green ones - just search for clamp
meter.
