In the UK, you cannot patent process a business process on it's own -
although you can patent unique aspects of the machinery that process
depends on.

Any patent lawyer worth his salt will give you a free initial
consultation and offer a view on whether or not your concept is
patentable, and if it is, a guestimate of prior art issues.
