Re: Fw: Heatmiser PC Connect

Comfort has a Honeywell Smartfit interface and a CBus interface so
in theory you should be able to control your heating from CBus via
Comfort, and if you have a CBus PAC or CTouch you could in theory
apply some logic to the control. Of course if you use Comfort you
can use Comfigurator to do some logic programming to control
Smartfit from there.

Looking at the Heatmiser PC Connect, it seems to be aimed at
controlling their range of industrial heating controls. The PCLink
Lite product still seems to be aimed at the domestic theromstat
heating control catagories. This is a product I have been using for
a few months now and am looking forward to the final relaeased
version of the software to become available.

As has been mentioned before on this list, Heatmiser are defensive
of their network protocols so I don't think there will be an
official xAP (or whatever) interface soon, which is a shame.
