Ahh - sorry my post maybe doesn't read too clearly - it is free for
single bridged networks (ie two networks) but not where there are two
bridges or more (3+ networks ) .
Given the C-Bus wireless systems is not a mesh network and the switches
don't act as repeaters (so all wireless devices must be in range of all
others on one network) and quoted range is so small then anyone
practically integrating more than a few wireless switches will end up
with several bridges being required. Any thick walls make things even
worse. So I'm guessing that a C-Gate licence will be purchasable for
most wireless users still. The one good thing is that it helped me make
the decision to wire rather than go wireless as I would have needed so
many networks - (3' solid walls here).
