That cheap 250 mw transmitter isnt a PLL so get used to re-tuning it
constantly as humidity/temperature/phase of the moon/whatever make it
change.

Broadcast warehouse also have a lot of other better transmitters, there
usual customers are the pirate crowd. I guess I'm just lucky to live in a
country where anyone is allowed to operate an FM transmitter under a
general
user license and broadcast whatever the hell they like up to 500mw.

You can get a 250mW mono FM transmitter in kit form for #15 from

unfortunately their stereo encoder is both
expensive and discontinued. This can however be done in software -

I saw the PCIMAX is lot cheaper at http://tinyurl.com/2rs97 (#99) but they
can't supply the UK. They also have a #30 stereo encoder.
