RE: RGB lights and xAP support

I soldered up the diddy little chips on a few boards and left the 'normal'
components to Paul et al. Still open for business if you want to play.

If Gerry cannot do kits any more then all the components are available
over here which only leaves the PCB's. Have a think about it and if you
want to pursue this then get in touch.

Thanks

Ian

Reply trimmed Mark!!! ;)

I did solder up the boards with the exception of the PWM chips which are
surface mount. Ian Bird brought back the kits from the US and kindly
soldered these chips on for me - he did a superb job :)

These controllers are really fantastic - you can set any colour or an
animation sequence for each LED from the Java app and download it to the
board real-time or as a startup default. I'm having fun animating to and
from different colours - blue to red is nice - all at different speeds
too.

The cost was a special bulk buy cost price from Gerry - approx $60 per kit
+ LED's. It was a LOT of hassle for him to organise though - especially
payment, so not sure if he's doing any more but the schematics, diagrams,
PIC code etc are all freely available on his web site :)

Paul.
