RE: Arghhh!!! Bloody PVR's :(

Hey Keith, - you could always do what I've done, and get TWO Sky+ boxes...
=
:-)

Sky quite often have an offer on that enables you to buy a Sky+ box
(includ=
ing fitting) for a measly =A349... then it's another =A310/month for a
mult=
i-room sub... - people constantly complain about the extra, but where I
liv=
e that only equates to about 3.5 pints of beer... - and I mostly gave up
go=
ing to pubs ages ago, so I've got to spend the money somewhere, right?...
:=
-)

I've also found, much as you have that upgrading to these newer, and
suppos=
edly "better" technologies very often results in an inferior
picture!! - in=
many ways the lovely new HD-ready 32" LCD panel I've just installed in
the=
bedroom actually gives me a *worse* image than the 7 year old el-cheapo Go=
odmans 28" CRT set that it replaced! - No doubt I will be tempted to
upgrad=
e this box to a Sky HD box in a few months and hopefully I will then at
las=
t get televisual satisfaction... - does anyone know if, for instance, the
S=
ky guide pages that the box generates will be enhanced by the switch to
HD?=
